Our mission at Rescued Rollers is three-fold:

Rescue  senior and special needs pets from institutional settings where they are usually hours or minutes away from euthanasia. This includes paralyzed (or otherwise mobility challenged), blind and/or deaf, hospice, and others that typically don’t fare well in a shelter setting, or those that shelters are not equipped to deal with efficiently.

Educate shelters, other rescues, and caregivers about the causes, needs and specialized care requirements of senior and special needs pets through seminars, public speaking, and informative brochures. We attend many events throughout the year with educational displays and information. If your group is hosting an event and you’d like us to attend, please get in touch with us. We’ve also teamed with several local Humane Societies and Pet Stores to offer these same educational classes to the public at various times and locations.

Assist shelters, animal rescue organizations, and individuals to care for special needs dogs.

If your organization is in need of assistance in one of these areas, we will be glad to assist. We’ll also be happy to help if you just need some tips or advice on how to care for your senior or special needs pet. Our goal is to help make it easier for you to keep your pet rather than surrender or euthanize it.

We are a recognized 501(c)(3) public charity and we operate entirely on donated funds and items. Please consider supporting our mission with a donation.

Sharing is Caring!
