John shares some of the creative ways we overcame challenges with the Rescued Rollers dogs’ needs. From water therapy in the backyard, to building a walk box for physical therapy, to supporting paralyzed dogs while grooming or using a treadmill, the solutions all have “outside the box” thinking in common.

Every month the director of Rescued Rollers, John Lizotte, hosts a live video chat to talk with followers and supporters. This casual conversation takes place with the sanctuary dogs hanging out so people can see them in their everyday environment.

Caring for a special needs dog requires unique solutions for each dog’s condition and sometimes the solution can be inexpensive, just resourceful.
